Motherhood I know a fair few new mums and a lot of them are young, even teenagers. There is a huge pressure put on young mums now days and a lot of judgement, how do you feel about that, did you get much of that from people? I didn't get judged from people really, apart from a few family members that said I should get rid of the baby because I didn't have my own house or anything. But I got my own house before I gave birth and I didn't care what people thought. So when did you find out you were pregnant, were you surprised, panicked, excited? I was excited, I found out when I was about two weeks pregnant. How did the people around you react when you told them? Like your friends and family? Some were shocked, some didn't care. What was the hardest part about finding out and just being pregnant? Was there things you found difficult to handle? I didn't find things difficult to handle, I just had a bit of back pains. What was the best thing about being pregnant? (Other than obviously having your baby haha) Feeling the baby kick and wriggle, finding out the sex and knowing I was starting my own family. Did you have any major cravings? Extra pickles on my cheese burger. What about finding out the sex of your baby, how did you feel? I was impatient!! Where there any complications during pregnancy and the birth? His heart rate dropped so we had to get him out quick so I had an episiotomy, they had to cut me down there. When did you start going into labour and how long were you in labour for? 2am and I had a four and a half hour labour. Was it natural birth or C-Section? Natural! How did you feel during labour, were you scared at all? Not scared, I just wanted him out because it felt like my ads were going to tear into two haha. You named you little boy Jet ragan Blanchard, when did you decide on a name and is there any special reason behind it? I decided on this name soon as I found out the gender and he was name after a person in the group "Hollywood undead" George ragan (Johnny 3 tears - J3T) Now what about when jet finally arrived? Was it morning or night? What about his weight? Was he heavy haha? He was born at 6:31 am and was 6 pound 1, He was tiny! How did it feel to finally have him in your arms after 9 months? It was amazing I love him so much! How long did you stay in hospital for? 1 night. How was the first day and night for you, how did it feel to look at your son and know that he had finally arrived and he was yours to hold and love? It was awesome, the feeling of being a mum, I couldn't stop looking at him. Is he a good sleeper and eater? Sleeps all day, okay at night and oh my god he's a little fatty when it comes to feeding! Do you breast feed or bottle feed him? Both! What are you most excited for in the coming years? Watching him grow and seeing what he achieves, and watching him take his first steps and when he first talks. What are you least excited for? Haha sleepless nights! Is there anything you would do differently throughout the entire journey? Nothing!! Do you have any advice for new mums? Make sure you sleep when baby sleeps and get pleanty of sleep whilst you're pregnant you'll miss your sleep when baby comes. Thanks so much for sharing your story Courtney I know you'll be the best mum to jet! "I love him so much..." Click the title "MORHERHOOD" for some fun and useful tips on being a first time mother.
